The downturn in the real estate market, a slowing economy, and no where else to turn has led many to try living in their cars, Recreational Vehicles, or campers. This has become a common phenomenon on beach community streets, though many cities have slowly taken aim at reducing the presence of non-dwelling place residents.Up until this year, Venice Beach, California was a pretty laid-back place. Venetians however are on the growing list of beach communities taking back their streets from the down and out crowd living, partying, and parking on the narrow lanes in this coastal paradise. Out of luck people who have lost their homes to foreclosure, only one step away from being a bum on the street are also losing their opportunity to live by the beach.
