Glitz is back at South American summer playground

Punta del Este, Uruguay, known by people in the know as just “Punta” is experiencing a renaissance as the rich and famous continue to come to enjoy the miles of beautiful coast. Punta’s tourist population is diversifying with a greater flux of Europeans and Americans complimenting the traditional Argentine party atmosphere. As the city’s popularity grows, property prices and development are rising. A small price to pay for hob-knobbing with people like Ralph Lauren and Naomi Campbell.
