Real estate is a really hot business and this lures many fraudulent people as well to try and earn some extra cash using unfair or illegal means. Recently a scam was unearthed where lots of apartments had been fraudly mortgaged using the stolen identity of some other persons. It was only when one such person applied for a mortgage did he come to know about this fraud
