There is gold even in the harshest times. This is especially true in the case of Southern California, where real estate prices are dropping even further. As such, bargain hunters from all over are already having a field day acquiring bargains from foreclosed or endangered properties. As soon as the market goes bullish once again, these properties will rise in value once more.

Prices go lower and lower and lower

Just when will the bottom of the pit show up? Prices are still going down and mortgage companies are already crying for help.

The situation is no easier in South California, where real estate prices have gone below than 2004 levels, with almost half of all properties sold being foreclosed ones. Because of this, otherwise deserving loan applicants have been denied by loan providers because of tighter credit.
